Master Your Environment. Maximise Your Retention.
Three professional 1g samples designed to help you manage lash adhesive performance when lower humidity is slowing your adhesive cure.
The Low Humidity Retention Trio brings together three UK-made, cosmetic-grade products with three different roles:
1g Low Humidity Retention Booster – supports adhesive curing when lower humidity is slowing it down.
Your choice of 1g Lash Adhesive – creates the bond, with four curing speeds available.
1g Superbonder – supports final adhesive curing and bond flexibility.
Sample set: 3 x 1g products
Best for: Lower-humidity environments or trialling our retention system
Professional use only
Why Choose the Low Humidity Retention Trio?
Cyanoacrylate lash adhesive relies on moisture to cure.
When humidity drops, your adhesive may cure more slowly than you're used to. You may notice lashes remaining mobile after placement, more stickies or an adhesive that simply feels slower to work with.
This trio lets you trial three products with three different jobs:
Retention Booster → Support the cure
Lash Adhesive → Create the bond
Superbonder → Finish
The aim isn't to throw every retention product at every client.
It's to understand what your adhesive needs and why.
1. Low Humidity Retention Booster – Support the Cure
Our Low Humidity Retention Booster is designed to support adhesive curing when lower humidity is causing your glue to cure more slowly.
It may be useful when:
- Your room humidity is lower than usual
- Your adhesive is curing more slowly
- Extensions remain mobile after placement
- You're experiencing more stickies because the adhesive isn't curing quickly enough
It can also be applied sparingly to the lash strip during handmade Volume work to assist with fan control.
Not recommended for Easy Fan lashes.
And more isn't necessarily better.
If your adhesive is already curing quickly, don't automatically add Retention Booster. Accelerating an already-fast adhesive can cause it to begin curing before you've completed your attachment, potentially contributing to poor bonding and pop-offs.
2. Choose Your 1g Lash Adhesive – Create the Bond
Choose according to your actual application speed, not simply the fastest adhesive available.
Meadow – 1–2 Seconds
A more forgiving curing speed for newly qualified or slower lash artists who need additional placement time.
Spring – Approx. 1 Second
For intermediate and confident artists looking for a faster cure while maintaining control.
Wildflower – 0.5–1 Second
For fast, confident lash artists with quick placement.
Damselfly – Approx. 0.3 Seconds
Our fastest adhesive, designed for advanced artists with extremely fast placement.
If an adhesive cures too quickly for your technique, it can begin curing before you've completed the attachment, potentially contributing to pop-offs.
If it cures too slowly, extensions can remain mobile for longer and increase the risk of stickies.
The fastest glue isn't automatically the best glue. The right speed for you is.
3. Superbonder – Finish
Superbonder is your finishing step.
After completing the lash set, apply it sparingly to the adhesive bonding points to support final curing and help maintain a more flexible cured bond.
Wait approximately 3 minutes after completing the set, apply a small amount using a clean microbrush and allow approximately 2–3 minutes to dry before the client opens their eyes.
Superbonder can support a good retention routine, but it doesn't replace correct preparation, attachment or adhesive choice.
Working Environment
Our adhesives are designed to work within:
Temperature: 20–24°C / 68–75°F
Humidity: 40–70% RH
Sweet spot: Approx. 55% RH
Higher humidity will generally accelerate curing, while lower humidity will generally slow it down.
This is where Low Humidity Retention Booster can be useful — when dry conditions are making an otherwise suitable adhesive cure more slowly than expected.
For more help understanding how temperature, humidity and adhesive speed work together, see our FREE Lash Adhesive Retention & Environment Guide.
Does This Trio Guarantee Better Retention?
No — and no single product can.
Retention is also influenced by:
- Adhesive speed
- Temperature and humidity
- Natural lash preparation
- Attachment
- Application technique
- Natural lash condition and cycle
- Client aftercare
If you're struggling with retention, identifying why it's happening is more useful than simply adding another product.

Sample Shelf Life
These 1g samples have a shorter usable life than the equivalent full-size products.
Retention Booster & Superbonder
Unopened: Approx. 2 months
Once opened: Use within 30 days for best performance
1g Lash Adhesive
Unopened: Approx. 3 weeks
Once opened: Use within 3–5 days for best performance
Due to their small volume, samples can be more sensitive to air exposure and may dry out more quickly.
All samples are freshly packaged prior to dispatch.
Patch Testing
Ladybug Lashes requires a patch test before using our lash adhesive on a client.
Carry out the patch test 24–48 hours before treatment using the adhesive intended for the full application.
For lash extension adhesive, our recommended method is to apply 5–10 lash extensions per eye, rather than applying adhesive directly to the skin.
A negative patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur during or after the full treatment. Always follow any additional requirements set by your insurer.
