Why Express Cysteamine for Korean Lash Lifting?

Cysteamine-Based Step 1

Express uses Cysteamine HCl as its primary reducing agent, making it particularly suited to the techniques used within modern Korean lash lifting.

Fast Processing

Fine lashes: 4–5 minutes
Normal lashes: 5–6 minutes
Thick/coarse lashes: 6–7 minutes

Always monitor the natural lashes throughout processing rather than relying solely on the timer.

For best performance, maintain a working temperature of approximately 22–24°C.

Lower-Odour Formula

The Express Cysteamine system has a lower odour than many traditional lifting systems, creating a more pleasant working experience.

Conditioning Step 3

Step 3 contains amino acids, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and other conditioning ingredients to support the condition and appearance of the natural lashes following treatment.

Approximately 20–25 Treatments

Each 8ml pump provides approximately 20–25 treatments, depending on product usage and the length and density of the natural lashes.

Use only the amount of product required for each client.

As a general guide, up to approximately one pump per eye is usually sufficient, although some clients may require less.

Avoid over-applying product.

Powder Lift Method

Powder Lift is designed to alter the texture of your lifting and setting lotions, allowing the natural lashes to be positioned without traditional lash lift adhesive.

As a general guide, mix approximately 10–20% Powder Lift into the required lotion.

Only a small amount is required. Overuse can cause the mixture to become too thick or set too quickly.

Always follow your Powder Lift instructions and Korean lash lift training when performing this technique.

Lash Lift Balm Method

If you choose the Lash Lift Balm version of the kit, the balm is used to help position and secure the natural lashes during the treatment rather than mixing Powder Lift into the lotion.

Use only the amount required and follow the Lash Lift Balm instructions and Korean lash lift training for correct placement and product application.

Professional Treatment Guidance

Step 1 – Lift

Apply according to your Korean lash lift technique and the condition and thickness of the client's natural lashes.

Film can be used with the Express Cysteamine system according to your treatment technique.

Step 2 – Set

Apply Step 2 to reform and set the lashes into their new position.

Tinting can be carried out following Step 2 where appropriate and according to the tint manufacturer's instructions.

Step 3 – Nourish

Finish with Step 3 to condition the natural lashes.

For best results, leave Step 3 on the lashes for a minimum of 24 hours.

Also Suitable for Brow Lamination

The Express Cysteamine 3-step system itself is dual-purpose and can also be used for professional brow lamination treatments.

This kit, however, has been specifically built around Korean lash lifting, with the included choice of Powder Lift or Lash Lift Balm, specialist shields and tools selected for this technique.

Storage & Shelf Life

Store the Express Cysteamine pumps at approximately 15–20°C in a cool, dry environment.

Keep away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and high humidity.

Keep containers securely closed between treatments and store away from lash adhesives.

Use within 3 months of opening.

Powder Lift Storage

If you select Powder Lift, store at approximately 15–20°C in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat.

Keep the glass bottle securely closed and store in a dark cupboard or drawer.

Keep the powder dry and avoid introducing moisture into the bottle.

In humid environments, keep the product airtight and store with silica gel where appropriate.

Lash Lift Balm Storage

If you select Lash Lift Balm, follow the storage and shelf-life instructions provided with the balm.

Patch Testing

Patch testing is required 24–48 hours before treatment.

Follow the product instructions and any additional requirements set by your insurer.
