How to Wash Your Lashes (Yes, You Should Be Doing It!)
Washing your lash extensions properly is essential for eye health and for keeping your extensions looking fluffy and lasting longer. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to wash them safely: 🧼 Step-by-Step: How to Wash Your Lash Extensions 1. Wash your hands Start with clean hands to avoid transferring dirt or oils. 2. Dispense lash cleanser Apply a pump of lash cleanser onto your cleansing brush or directly onto closed eyelids. 3. Gently cleanse your lashes Using the brush, gently work the cleanser into your lashes using downward strokes (don’t rub side-to-side!). Focus on the lash line where oil and debris collect. 4. Rinse with clean water Splash or gently rinse your eyes with clean, lukewarm water. Make sure all cleanser is removed. 5. Pat dry Use a clean towel or tissue to gently dab (not rub!) the area dry. 6. Brush your lashes Once your lashes are dry (using a fan) use a clean spoolie to brush them back into place. Brush from the middle to the tips, never at the base.
