Most of us talk about temp & humidity all day, but hardly anyone’s talking about pH—and it’s a huge factor in glue performance and retention.
🔬 Science time (but make it lash-friendly):
Your lash adhesive cures (aka bonds) depending on the pH of the skin, lash, and eye area. If the pH is off — even by a little — your glue can cure too fast, too slow, or not bond properly at all.
🧪 If the skin/lash area is:

Too acidic (pH below 5.5) ➡️ The glue shrinks when curing = lashes pop off early.

Too alkaline (pH above 8) ➡️ Uneven cure = weak bond = bye-bye lashes.
🔥 The sweet spot? Right around 7.0 — neutral.
