Why do some lash glue nozzles block and what to do.
Every time you open the glue, oxygen and moisture enter the nozzle.
If you wipe the tip, even a tiny amount of glue at the rim can start to cure — creating a crusty block over time. Esp in warmer weather.
Some glues with faster drying times are even more sensitive to air, so the nozzle clogs quicker.
Leaving glue bottles open too long, not wiping the nozzle, or storing them upright (instead of sideways or upside down in a sealed container with silica) makes nozzle blockage much more likely.
Tips to Prevent Nozzle Blockage
Wipe the nozzle with foil or lint-free wipe (not cotton!)
Use a glue pin or needle to clear light blockages
Store upright in an airtight container with silica gel
Avoid shaking with the cap on — glue can flood the nozzle
Shaking up and down can force glue into the nozzle — shake side to side instead!
Keep spare nozzles and a nozzle remover on hand!
