Your choice of 1g Cosmetic Grade Lash Adhesive – choose the adhesive that best matches your application speed.
Sample set: 3 x 1g products
Best for: Lash artists working in lower humidity or wanting to trial our retention system
Professional use only
Why Choose the Low Humidity Retention Trio?
Cyanoacrylate lash adhesive reacts with moisture in the air.
When humidity drops, your adhesive may cure more slowly than you're used to. This can lead to lashes remaining mobile after placement, increased stickies and an adhesive that simply feels slower to work with.
This trio lets you trial three products that each have a different job within your lash routine.
The aim isn't to throw every retention product at every client.
It's to understand what your adhesive needs and why.
1. Low Humidity Retention Booster – 1g
Our Retention Booster is designed to support adhesive curing when you're working in lower-humidity conditions.
Used appropriately, it can help your adhesive cure more efficiently when dry air is slowing it down.
It can also be applied sparingly to the lash strip during handmade Volume work to help with fan control.
It may be useful when:
- Your room humidity is lower than usual
- Your adhesive is curing too slowly
- Lashes remain mobile after placement
- You're experiencing more stickies because the adhesive isn't curing quickly enough
It is not recommended for Easy Fan lashes.
If your adhesive is already curing quickly, don't automatically add Retention Booster. Making an already-fast adhesive cure even faster can contribute to poor attachment and pop-offs.
2. Superbonder – 1g
Superbonder is your finishing step.
After completing the lash set, it is applied sparingly to the adhesive bonding points to support final adhesive curing and help maintain a more flexible cured bond.
Wait approximately 3 minutes after completing your set, then apply a small amount to the adhesive bonds using a clean microbrush.
Allow approximately 2–3 minutes to dry before the client opens their eyes.
Superbonder can support good retention when used alongside correct preparation, attachment, adhesive choice and application technique.
It isn't a fix for poor attachment or an adhesive that is curing at the wrong speed for you.
3. Your Choice of Cosmetic Grade Lash Adhesive – 1g
Choose the 1g adhesive sample that best matches your application speed.
All of our traditional lash adhesives are UK-manufactured, cosmetic-grade and designed specifically for professional lash-extension use.
Meadow – 1–2 Seconds
Best for newly qualified or slower lash artists who need more placement time.
Spring – Approx. 1 Second
Best for intermediate and confident lash artists who want a faster cure while maintaining control.
Wildflower – 0.5–1 Second
Best for fast, confident lash artists with quick placement.
Damselfly – Approx. 0.3 Seconds
Our fastest traditional adhesive, designed for advanced lash artists with extremely fast placement.
Choose according to your actual placement speed, not simply the fastest adhesive available.
An adhesive that cures too quickly for your technique can begin curing before you've completed the attachment, potentially contributing to pop-offs.
An adhesive that cures too slowly can remain mobile after placement and increase the risk of stickies.
Working Environment
Our traditional adhesives are designed to work within:
Temperature: 20–24°C (68–75°F)
Humidity: 40–70% RH
Sweet spot: Approximately 55% RH
Higher humidity will generally speed up curing, while lower humidity will generally slow it down.
This is where the Low Humidity Retention Booster can become useful — if dry conditions are making your chosen adhesive cure more slowly than expected.

What's the Difference Between the Three Products?
Think of the trio like this:
Retention Booster → helps when your adhesive is curing too slowly in lower humidity.
Lash Adhesive → creates the bond.
Superbonder → finishing step that supports final adhesive curing and bond flexibility.
Each product has a different job.
You do not necessarily need every product on every client.
Does This Trio Guarantee Better Retention?
No single product or set can guarantee retention.
The Low Humidity Retention Trio gives you products that can support good adhesive performance, but retention is also influenced by:
- Adhesive speed
- Temperature and humidity
- Natural lash preparation
- Attachment
- Application technique
- Natural lash condition and cycle
- Client aftercare
If you're struggling with retention, identifying why it is happening is more useful than simply adding more products.

Sample Shelf Life
Because these are 1g sample sizes, their shelf lives are shorter than our full-size products.
Retention Booster & Superbonder
Unopened: Approximately 2 months
Once opened: Use within 30 days for best performance
1g Lash Adhesive
Unopened: Approximately 3 weeks
Once opened: Use within 3–5 days for best performance
Due to their smaller size, samples may dry out more quickly than full-size products.
All samples are freshly packaged prior to dispatch.
Patch Testing
Ladybug Lashes requires a patch test before using our lash adhesive on a client.
Patch testing should be carried out 24–48 hours before treatment using the adhesive that will be used for the full application.
For lash-extension adhesive, our recommended method is to apply 5–10 lash extensions per eye, rather than applying adhesive directly to the skin.
A negative patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur during or after a full treatment, but the required patch test should still be completed.
Always follow any additional requirements set by your insurer.
