If Wildflower is your usual adhesive and you do not already have a suitable back-up glue, we strongly recommend choosing an alternative rather than waiting until you completely run out:

• Damselfly and Damselfly Clear – 0.3 seconds: a faster-curing option for experienced, quicker lash artists.   
• Spring – 1 second: a slightly slower-curing alternative if you prefer a little more working time. If you find Spring slightly slower than you are used to, our Retention Booster can be used during prep to help create a faster working surface.

Wildflower Clear is our UK-manufactured, cosmetic-grade professional clear lash adhesive, with a fast drying time of approximately 0.5–1 second and a very thin viscosity.

With no black pigment, it creates a clean, virtually invisible attachment, making it particularly useful for brown lashes, coloured lashes and creative sets where a black adhesive bond may be more noticeable.

It is best suited to experienced lash artists with quick, confident placement. If you are still building your speed, Wildflower Clear may begin curing before you have completed the attachment, so one of our slower adhesives may be more suitable.

Is Wildflower Clear the Right Lash Glue for You?

Wildflower Clear gives you the fast performance of Wildflower with a clear finish instead of black.

It is an excellent choice if you work with brown, coloured or creative lashes and do not want a black adhesive bond interfering with the finished result.

Choosing your adhesive should also be based on your application speed and working environment, rather than simply choosing the fastest adhesive available.

Wildflower Clear has a 0.5–1 second drying time and is designed for artists who work quickly.

If you are experiencing lash pop-offs during application, your adhesive may be curing before you have completed the attachment. In this situation, you may actually need a slower adhesive rather than a faster one.

Cosmetic-Grade Clear Lash Adhesive, Made in the UK

Wildflower Clear is manufactured and quality controlled in the UK specifically for professional lash-extension use, using cosmetic-grade ingredients and controlled manufacturing processes.

Each batch is tested for consistency and performance, helping to ensure the adhesive meets the expected specification before release.

Wildflower Clear uses BHA (Butylated Hydroxyanisole) as its stabiliser.

We believe lash artists should know what they are working with, which is why we clearly disclose our adhesive ingredients and the stabilising system used within the formulation.

Wildflower Clear Working Conditions

Your room conditions affect how quickly cyanoacrylate adhesive cures.

Wildflower Clear's recommended working environment is:

Temperature: 20–24°C (68–75°F)
Humidity: 40–70% RH
Sweet spot: Approximately 55% RH

Our traditional adhesives share the same recommended working range and are differentiated primarily by curing speed and viscosity, rather than being separate formulas for different humidity levels.

Higher humidity will generally make your adhesive cure faster, while lower humidity will generally slow it down.

Because Wildflower Clear is already a fast adhesive, both your working environment and placement speed are particularly important. In warmer or more humid conditions, it may feel considerably faster than expected.

If your humidity is lower and your adhesive is curing too slowly, our Low Humidity Retention Booster can be used according to its instructions.

How to Use Wildflower Clear Lash Adhesive

Shake Wildflower Clear by hand for a full two minutes before your first use of the day to thoroughly mix the formulation.

Between adhesive drops, shake for approximately 30 seconds.

When dispensing your adhesive:

• Remove the cap before shaking

• Shake the bottle from side to side rather than vigorously up and down

• Turn the bottle upside down and allow gravity to dispense the drop rather than squeezing the bottle

• Use small, fresh drops throughout the treatment

• Wipe the nozzle after dispensing with a lint-free wipe

• Replace the cap securely between uses

Correct adhesive handling helps maintain consistency and reduces product build-up around the nozzle.

How to Store Wildflower Clear

Store Wildflower Clear in a cool, dark place inside its airtight storage container with the silica pack provided.

Keep the bottle upright with the cap securely closed, and avoid unnecessary exposure to heat, humidity and direct sunlight.

Unopened shelf life: Up to 12 months
Opened shelf life: 90+ days when correctly stored and handled

Always refer to the expiry information supplied with your individual product.

Getting the Best Retention From Wildflower Clear

Retention is not determined by your adhesive alone.

Preparation, attachment, application speed, natural lash condition, room environment, client aftercare and the natural lash cycle can all affect how long extensions remain attached.

Wildflower Clear can provide up to approximately 6–7 weeks' retention under suitable conditions, but this is not a guarantee for every client.

Our pH Balancer, Low Humidity Retention Booster and Super Bonder can also be incorporated into your treatment where appropriate.

Additional products should be selected according to the client's lashes, your working environment and the individual product instructions rather than automatically being used with every set.

First Time Using Ladybug Lashes Adhesive?

If you are switching from another brand, do not assume a 0.5–1 second adhesive will feel identical to another adhesive with the same stated speed.

Differences in formulation, viscosity, stabilising systems, room conditions and application technique can all affect how an adhesive performs in practice.

That is why we recommend trying one of our 1g Lash Glue Samples before committing to a full-size bottle if you have never used our adhesives before.

This gives you the opportunity to find the Ladybug adhesive that best matches your actual placement speed and working environment.

Adhesive Nozzle Information

Our adhesive bottle/nozzle style can vary between production batches. Depending on the batch, a 3g or 5g bottle may arrive with either a pre-pierced nozzle or a nozzle that requires piercing before first use.

This does not affect the freshness, quality or performance of the adhesive. A pre-pierced nozzle does not mean the bottle has previously been opened; it is simply the bottle/nozzle format used for that production batch.

We continue to include a nozzle pin with every adhesive, as we always have. As nozzle style may vary, we cannot guarantee a specific nozzle type when ordering.

Wildflower Clear Lash Adhesive FAQs

What's the difference between Wildflower Black and Wildflower Clear?

Both have a fast 0.5–1 second drying time and very thin viscosity.

The main visible difference is the colour.

Wildflower Black contains black pigment, while Wildflower Clear dries without a black bond. This makes Clear particularly useful when working with brown, coloured or creative lashes where you want the attachment to remain discreet.

Is Wildflower Clear suitable for beginners?

Wildflower Clear is not our first recommendation for beginners.

Its 0.5–1 second drying time is designed for confident technicians with quick placement.

If you are newly qualified or still developing your speed, Meadow (1–2 seconds) will usually give you more working time.

Can Wildflower Clear be used for Classic and Volume lashes?

Yes. Wildflower Clear can be used for professional Classic and Volume lash-extension techniques.

It can also be particularly useful with brown and coloured lashes because there is no black pigment in the adhesive.

The most important factor is whether its curing speed suits your application speed and working conditions.

Why am I getting pop-offs with Wildflower Clear?

Pop-offs during application can sometimes indicate that the adhesive is curing before you have completed the attachment.

Because Wildflower Clear is a fast adhesive, even an experienced artist may find it too quick depending on their placement speed, temperature and humidity.

Check your working conditions and consider whether a slower adhesive would better suit your technique.

Does Wildflower Clear have low fumes?

Wildflower Clear is classed within our range as having minimal fumes.

However, minimal fumes does not mean allergy-free, hypoallergenic or suitable for someone with a known cyanoacrylate allergy.

Is clear lash adhesive better for allergies?

No.

Wildflower Clear does not contain Carbon Black, but it still contains cyanoacrylate.

Choosing a clear adhesive should therefore not be presented as a solution for someone with a known adhesive or cyanoacrylate allergy.

Do I need to patch test Wildflower Clear?

Yes. Ladybug Lashes requires a patch test before using Wildflower Clear on a client.

Patch testing should be carried out 24–48 hours before treatment using the adhesive that will be used for the full application.

For lash-extension adhesive, our recommended method is to apply 5–10 lash extensions per eye, rather than applying adhesive directly to the skin.

A negative patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur during or after a full treatment, but the required patch test should still be completed.

Always follow any additional requirements set by your insurer.

Can I use Wildflower Clear on myself?

No. Wildflower Clear is a professional-use lash-extension adhesive and is not suitable for self-application, DIY lashes or strip lashes.

Can I get the SDS?

Yes. The relevant SDS is available on request for the adhesive supplied with your order.
