Complete Beginner Training

No previous lash qualification or experience is required.

The course takes you through the foundations of classic lash extensions before progressing to practical application and assessment.

Work through the theory and video demonstrations around your existing commitments, giving yourself time to practise before completing your case studies.

Practical Assessment

To successfully complete the course, you will submit three case studies for assessment.

Your submissions will include evidence of:

• Finished result
• Infill
• Full removal

Photos and video evidence are required as part of the assessment process.

If further work is needed, you will receive feedback so you can continue developing your technique before certification.

ABT-Accredited Certification

Once you have successfully completed the training and passed your assessments, you will receive an ABT-accredited digital certificate.

This qualification can support you when applying for appropriate professional treatment insurance, subject to the requirements of your chosen insurer.

Why Meadow Adhesive Is Included

All three training kits include our Meadow 1–2 Second Lash Adhesive rather than asking beginners to choose their own adhesive speed.

When you're learning classic lash application, an extremely fast adhesive can cure before you've completed your placement and attachment. Meadow's 1–2 second speed gives developing artists more working time while they build confidence and improve their application speed.

As your skills and speed develop, you can explore faster adhesives if and when they're appropriate for the way you work.

Patch Testing

A patch test must be carried out 48 hours before treatment when using the adhesive supplied with this course, in line with the product instructions and insurance requirements.

Students should follow the correct patch testing procedure before completing practical treatments or case studies.

Practical Assessment Requirements

To successfully complete the course, you must submit 3 separate case studies for assessment.

For each case study, you will need to provide clear photo and video evidence showing the required stages of your treatment.

Your assessment evidence must include:

• Preparation: 10–15 minutes
• Mid-treatment application: 10–15 minutes
• Finished result: 10–15 minutes
• Infill: 10–15 minutes
• Full removal

All required stages must be submitted clearly enough for your assessor to review your technique, placement, isolation, application and finished result.

If your submission does not yet meet the required standard, you will receive feedback and will be asked to make corrections or submit further evidence before certification is issued.

You will only receive your certificate after all 3 case studies have been successfully passed.
