Processing Times

Choose your processing time according to the condition and thickness of the natural hair:

Very Fine: 3–4 minutes
Fine: 4–5 minutes
Normal / Healthy: 5–6 minutes
Coarse: 6–7 minutes

Always assess the natural lashes or brow hairs throughout processing rather than relying on timing alone.

Do not use cling film with this system.

Important Step 1 Placement for Lash Lifts

When using Flutter & Frame for a lash lift, do not apply Step 1 to the delicate lash tips.

Apply the lifting lotion only to the appropriate processing area of the natural lash.

Correct product placement is important because the finer lash tips can process more quickly and may be more vulnerable to over-processing.

This is one of the important differences between our Flutter & Frame TGA system and our Express Cysteamine system, where Step 1 can be applied across the full lash from base through to tip.

How to Use

Step 1 – Lift

Apply according to your professional training and the treatment being performed.

Process according to the natural hair type and condition.

Remove thoroughly using a dry applicator.

Step 2 – Set

Apply Step 2 according to the treatment instructions.

Allow to process for the appropriate time before removing thoroughly.

Step 3 – Nourish

Finish the treatment with Step 3 using the applicator provided.

Step 3 contains a blend of conditioning ingredients including amino acids, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate.

For best results, leave Step 3 on the lashes or brows for at least 24 hours.

Lash Lift or Brow Lamination?

Flutter & Frame is a dual-purpose professional system, so the same system can be used for both services.

For lash lifting, it is particularly suited to artists who prefer a traditional TGA-based system.

For brow lamination, it allows the natural brow hairs to be repositioned and set into the desired shape before finishing with Step 3.

Always adapt your technique and processing to the individual client's natural hair.

Aftercare

For the first 24 hours following treatment:

• Avoid getting the treated lashes or brows wet
• Avoid steam
• Do not apply additional products over the treated area

For the first 48 hours, avoid swimming, saunas and excessive heat.

With correct treatment and aftercare, results can last approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on the client's natural hair cycle and individual hair condition.

Patch Testing

Patch testing is required 24–48 hours before treatment.

Patch test the products that will be used during the treatment according to the product instructions.

A negative patch test does not guarantee that a reaction will not occur during or following treatment.

Always follow any additional requirements set by your insurer.
