A professional finishing product designed to support final adhesive curing and bond flexibility after lash-extension application.
Our UK-made, cosmetic-grade 10ml Superbonder is used after the lash set has been completed.
Applied sparingly to the adhesive bonding points, it supports the final curing process and helps maintain a more flexible cured bond.
Size: 10ml
Best for: Finishing professional lash-extension sets
Use: After application
Professional use only
What Does Superbonder Do?
Superbonder is used at the end of the treatment, not during preparation.
It supports the final polymerisation, or curing, of cyanoacrylate adhesive and helps the cured bond remain more flexible.
That can be useful because natural lashes move during normal wear, and a flexible bond can support overall durability.
Why Do Lash Artists Use Superbonder?
Supports Final Adhesive Curing
Superbonder helps support the final curing stage after application.
Supports Bond Flexibility
Once cyanoacrylate adhesive cures, it can become rigid. Superbonder is designed to help maintain a more flexible finished bond.
Can Support Retention
A well-cured, flexible bond can support good retention when combined with correct preparation, attachment, adhesive choice and application technique.
Superbonder is not a fix for poor attachment or an adhesive that is curing at the wrong speed.
How to Use Superbonder
After completing the lash set:
- Wait approximately 3 minutes
- Apply a small amount to the adhesive bonding points using a clean microbrush
- Avoid over-saturating the lashes
- Allow approximately 2–3 minutes to dry before the client opens their eyes
Use sparingly. You only need a small amount around the adhesive bonds.
Can Superbonder Reduce Fumes?
Superbonder supports the final curing of the adhesive, which can help reduce the amount of uncured adhesive remaining at the end of the treatment.
However, it should not be described as preventing allergic reactions or making cyanoacrylate adhesive suitable for someone with a known allergy.
It does not remove cyanoacrylate from the adhesive.
Can Superbonder Improve Retention?
It can form part of a good retention routine, but retention is influenced by much more than one finishing product.
It also depends on:
- Adhesive speed
- Temperature and humidity
- Natural lash preparation
- Attachment
- Application technique
- Natural lash condition and cycle
- Client aftercare
If you're experiencing retention issues, identify the actual cause rather than relying on Superbonder alone.
Professional Styling Tip
Superbonder can also be used sparingly on the tips of lash fibres when creating defined spikes for textured or wet-look styling.
Use only a very small amount to help bring the fibres together and create a more defined finish.
What's the Difference Between pH Balancer, Retention Booster and Superbonder?
They each have a different job:
pH Balancer – used during preparation to help clean and balance the natural lash surface.
Low Humidity Retention Booster – used when adhesive is curing too slowly in lower-humidity conditions and can also support handmade Volume fan control.
Superbonder – used after the set is completed to support final adhesive curing and bond flexibility.
You do not necessarily need to use every product on every client.

The Bottom Line
Superbonder is the finishing step.
Used correctly, it supports final adhesive curing and bond flexibility and can form part of a well-controlled professional retention routine.
It does not replace good prep, correct attachment or choosing an adhesive that matches your working speed.
