When choosing a professional lash lift or brow lamination system, the formulation matters, but so does the packaging.

Should you choose individual sachets or an airless pump?

Neither is automatically better.

For many artists, it simply comes down to treatment volume, convenience and personal preference. That is exactly why we stock both.

When Do Lash Lift Sachets Make Sense?

Sachets can be a practical option if lash lifts or brow laminations are not treatments you perform every day.

Our 1.5ml sachets typically provide enough product for approximately 3 to 5 clients, depending on how much product is required per treatment.

They can suit newly qualified artists building their client base, technicians performing only a few lifts each month, salons where lifting is an additional rather than core treatment, or artists who simply prefer working from sachets.

Opening smaller quantities at a time can make sense when your treatment volume is lower.

You can choose Flutter & Frame TGA sachets or Express Cysteamine sachets, depending on the system you use.

When Is an Airless Pump Better?

If lash lifts or brow laminations are a regular part of your diary, an airless pump may be more convenient.

Our 8ml pumps provide approximately 20 to 25 treatments, depending on how much product is required and the length and density of the natural lashes or brows.

They are quick to dispense, less fiddly than opening sachets during a busy working day and, in our experience, considerably less messy.

Both our Flutter & Frame TGA airless pumps and Express Cysteamine airless pumps are transparent, so you can see approximately how much product remains. That makes stock management easier and helps you spot when it is time to reorder.

What About Waste?

This is another reason some artists prefer pumps.

Using one larger pump can mean less individual sachet packaging being disposed of across multiple treatments.

For a busy salon regularly performing lash lifts or brow laminations, that can make pumps a more practical option from a packaging waste perspective too.

Controlled dispensing can also help reduce unnecessary product waste because you take only the amount required for each treatment.

That does not make sachets the wrong choice. If you only perform occasional treatments, sachets may make far more sense for your business.

The most suitable option is the one that fits the way you actually work.

Are Pumps Better Value?

For a busy technician, they can be.

But value is not simply about which pack contains the most product.

If you regularly work through an airless pump, the larger format can make excellent sense. If you only perform occasional lifts or laminations, sachets may suit your business better.

Buying more product because it appears cheaper per treatment is not good value if you do not realistically need that quantity.

Are All Lash Lift Pump Bottles the Same?

No. A standard pump bottle and an airless pump are different packaging systems and should not automatically be treated as though they behave in the same way.

Conventional pump packaging can allow more contact between the product and the air inside the container during use. Airless packaging is designed to dispense product while helping minimise unnecessary air entering the container and exposure of the remaining contents during normal use.

That does not mean an airless pump makes a lash lift formulation indestructible or gives every product the same shelf life.

The formulation itself, its compatibility with the packaging, storage, handling and the manufacturer's stated period after opening all still matter.

This is why one brand having problems with a conventional pump does not mean every lash lift product supplied in a pump will behave in the same way.

Our Flutter & Frame and Express Cysteamine systems are supplied in 8ml airless pumps and have a stated period of use of three months once opened when stored and used correctly.

Do Airless Pumps Last Once Opened?

This is an interesting one because we have seen very different opinions across the industry.

Some brands have moved away from conventional pump packaging after experiencing deterioration in their own products during use.

That experience can be completely valid for a particular formulation and packaging combination, but it should not automatically be applied to properly designed airless systems as a whole.

Our Flutter & Frame TGA and Express Cysteamine airless pumps are suitable for use for three months once opened, provided they are stored and used correctly.

We have not experienced our pumps suddenly becoming unusable simply because they have been opened.

We believe formulation is an important part of that conversation too. Two lash lift products placed into similar-looking packaging are not automatically going to behave in exactly the same way because their complete formulations and packaging systems can be different.

We do not think the performance of one product or formulation should automatically be used to judge airless packaging as a whole.

Are Sachets Automatically Fresher?

Sachets allow you to open a smaller quantity at a time, which can be useful for lower volume technicians.

But that does not automatically mean sachets are better or that airless pumps are somehow less fresh.

Airless packaging is designed to dispense product while helping reduce unnecessary exposure of the remaining contents during normal use.

The formulation, packaging, storage and correct handling all matter.

Do Airless Pumps Stop Lash Lift Products Oxidising?

Airless packaging can help reduce unnecessary air exposure during dispensing, but it does not make the contents permanently protected from environmental exposure.

Formulation, storage, handling and the manufacturer's stated period after opening still matter.

An airless pump should therefore be judged as part of the complete system, not as a guarantee on its own.

Can I Use Both?

Absolutely.

You do not have to belong to Team Sachet or Team Pump.

Some artists prefer pumps for treatments they perform regularly but keep sachets for lower volume services. Others simply prefer the convenience of sachets. Some would not give up their pumps because they are quick, tidy and easy to dispense.

There is not a universally correct choice.

At Ladybug Lashes, we offer both Flutter & Frame TGA and Express Cysteamine in different professional formats because salons do not all work in exactly the same way.

So, Which Should You Choose?

Choose sachets if you perform fewer treatments, want smaller quantities at a time or simply prefer working from sachets.

Choose airless pumps if you perform treatments regularly, want quick and tidy dispensing and prefer a larger professional format with less individual packaging waste.

Neither format changes which system is right for you.

It is about choosing the format that fits your salon.

Sometimes there is not a better option. There is simply the one you prefer working with.
