1. Choose Based on Your Application Speed

Beginners / Slower Pace

Choose a glue with 1–2 seconds curing time:

  • Meadow – 1–2 sec (thin/medium)
  • Scarlet – 1–2 sec (thin)

These give you extra time to place and adjust without rushing.

Intermediate Artists

Choose:

  • Spring – 1 sec (thin)

Great if you’re speeding up and want something a little faster but still forgiving.

Fast / Advanced Artists

Choose rapid adhesives:

  • Damselfly – 0.3 sec (very thin)
  • Wildflower – 0.5–1 sec (very thin)

Designed for techs who isolate quickly and need glue that keeps up.

Please be aware that lash adhesives can vary considerably in drying speed and performance between different brands. This is due to factors such as the quality of cyanoacrylate used, the type of stabilisers included, and overall formulation differences, all of which can significantly affect how fast or slow the glue cures and how it behaves during application.

2. Match Your Glue to Your Room Conditions

Humidity and temperature directly affect curing time.

Ideal Conditions

  • Humidity: 55%
  • Temperature: 20–24°C
  • Humidity range: 40–70%

Use this rule to choose the right glue for your environment:

High Humidity or High Temperature
Glue cures faster.
Choose a slower-drying adhesive (Meadow / Scarlet).

Low Humidity or Low Temperature
Glue cures slower.
Choose a faster-drying adhesive (Damselfly / Wildflower / Spring).

All of our Cosmetic Grade adhesives will still work in any conditions — this helps you keep the curing speed comfortable and consistent.

3. Prep Matters More Than You Think

Your prep routine affects how quickly your glue cures and how well lashes last.

High-Alcohol Primers — Use with Caution

Primers with high alcohol content:

  • dehydrate the natural lash
  • make the cuticle brittle
  • speed up glue curing dramatically
  • can cause poor attachment
  • reduce retention

Most techs don’t realise this can make glue cure too fast, especially in medium–high humidity.

Better Option: Our pH Balancer (pH 7.5)

Our pH balancer:

  • neutralises the lash
  • balances to pH 7.5
  • does not speed up glue curing
  • cleans without dehydrating
  • supports healthier, longer-lasting retention

Works beautifully with every adhesive and in all humidity conditions.

Need More Speed in Low Humidity? Use Our Retention Booster / Glue Aid

If your room has low humidity, glue dries slower.
Our Retention Booster / Glue Aid helps by:

  • increasing the pH to 8.5
  • gently speeding up the curing
  • improving grab and bonding
  • without drying out the natural lashes (unlike alcohol primers)

A safe and controlled way to optimise glue behaviour.

4. Sensitive Clients? Choose DAISY

Daisy – 1–2 sec (Thin/Medium)

  • Methoxy cyanoacrylate
  • Lower fumes compared to traditional adhesives
  • Gentle on sensitive clients
  • Works beautifully for all lash styles and techniques

5. Viscosity Matters

Choose based on what feels comfortable for your technique:

  • Very Thin: Damselfly, Wildflower
  • Thin: Spring, Scarlet
  • Thin/Medium: Meadow, Daisy

Every viscosity works for classics, hybrids, volumes, and mega — it simply comes down to personal preference and pickup style.
